 Single Worst Program I`ve Ever Purchased I purchased Phoenix CDRom 5 months ago. After numerous emails with Stellar, I was finally able to install without getting the message "This is a demo versio ... you need to purchase the working version." I used it one time in an attempt to recover data from a CD. It couldn't recover anything I couldn't read with Windows Explorer, but at least I didn't feel like I totally got screwed out of $79.That is until I tried to recover another CD. The "This is a demo version" message was back! This is the single worst program I've ever purchased. I don't understand ...

 Happy customer. I am really happy with the Power CD DVD recovery program. I had a disc with 2000 photos (that I didn't have stored anywhere else) go bad on me. This piece of software saved the day. I found it really easy to use and it recovered all the lost data off the disc.
Multisession DVD recovery Unfortunately "Power CD DVD Recovery" did not find any of my lost/damaged files such as IFO or VOB files.The disc(s) to recover were written by a VORTEX DVD Recorder, and, initially, I thought that it was my fault (either too many appends or missing/bad disc finalization).Actually it seems that there are much too many write/read errors.Anyway, thank you for your attention.Good luck,Adrian Ionescu

 I was looking for a program that would allow me to access multiple sessions on a CD or DVD. CD writing software used to allow you to access previous sessions but no longer does so and I have quite a few CDs and DVD that are multi session but on which I can only access the last session.Your software appeared not to give me the back-session facility I need. If it does, I couldn't find it, or it doesn't show up in the trial version.Roger
Bad CD/DVD Recovery is BAD Installed... but crashed everytime upone launch. Reinstalled, same error. No idea if it works or not, but it won't run under Win XP.

 Recover Data Easy to use and seems to find a lot of the files lost after an inadvertent partition of a vfat drive. However I can do similar things with Testdisk and Photorec, which are GPL tools.

 I had a SATA external disk damaged by an accidental power off and wanted to repair it. I downloaded DRW and attempted to use it. I did not understand that it would not actually save the files unless I had registered. This is not an unreasonable policy but it would be nice to tell people that when the program starts.
